UBL Chicago has been operating as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization since 1983. Located within the West Garfield Park community on Chicago’s west side, UBL has served West side residents for slightly over thirty (30) years to families, seniors and youth. Bishop Bennie Allison, Founder of the Allison United Foundation for Better Living, Inc. began an initiative to provide college scholarship programs for in-school youth living within the West Garfield Park community

UBL Chicago is committed to the concept that people are our most precious resource. This organization was founded and organized by Bishop Bennie Allison. Its goal is to provide a wide range of programs designed to address the physical, social, financial, and spiritual needs of individuals within the community.
Help Our Cause
Over the course of our thirty - year history, United For Better Living (UBL) has become a leading 501 c3 nonprofit organization on Chicago’s west side.
Motivated by love, hope and goodwill, UBL has been marked by
community service, social development and advocacy in the East & West Garfield Park communities.
Our strategy is to develop IMPACT programs and services for adults, teens and children who face societal challenges, such as violence, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment & access to affordable housing.
Each year we conduct a “FUNDRAISER CAMPAIGN” to
provide much - needed financial support to our organization.
Our goal is to ensure individuals and families have access to necessary resources to make their life BETTER!
